About us
Phobetor is a small central Europe based F-18 squadron. We operate in a semi-milsim style, doing two events every week at 20:00 CET/CEST on friday and sunday.
Each event has a custom mission with mission-specific briefings, kneeboards, lore, and most importantly, they’re a bunch of fun!
We are committed to mastering the Hornet and following real-life procedures and comms, but with a layed back vibe. There is no expectation for our squadron members to fly or communicate perfectly.
Operations gallery
Here are two missions we’ve flown recently to give you a glimpse of our operations.
Operation Disarm 06/04/2025
In this mission we where tasked with taking out a chemical weapons facility deep within Syrian SAM control. We had to fly around a dense SAM area, through the vast desert and fend off many bandits to deploy perfectly timed decoys and JSOW’s
Participants
“Dirt”, “Broadsword”, “Fox Zwei”, “Yeet”, (“Tilder” as cameraman)
Debriefing
Our mission went flawless. We didn’t have to divert from the mission plan and with good communication and risk aversion we where able to deply our weapons safely. We where able to bring it back with a quick tanking for a great and efficient carrier landing.
Outcome: Success
Operation Black Fish 02/03/2025
In this operation we where tasked to scramble and take out a rapidly moving convoy going towards friendly forces in northern Syria.
Participants
“Dirt”, “Fox Zwei”, “Yeet”, “Tilder”, “NonArte”.
Debriefing
We managed to scramble and arrive in time, however due to a miscommunication, we didn’t manage to drop on the first run, and had to go in again. This resulted in the convoy engaging with friendly ground troops, which was not ideal. At the end, we managed to neutralize the convoy, and return home safely.
Outcome: Partial Success
